What this role involves
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is hiring Psych RNs for our inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Los Angeles. Our program offers comprehensive mental health services for adults in acute psychiatric crisis.
What you'll do:
• Conduct thorough psychiatric nursing assessments on admission
• Administer psychiatric medications and monitor therapeutic response
• Implement safety protocols including de-escalation and therapeutic holds
• Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers and OT on treatment planning
