Telemetry / Step-Down Unit RN

NYU Langone Health is hiring Telemetry RNs for our busy Step-Down Unit in NYC. Our progressive care unit bridges the gap between ICU and general medical, caring for cardiac and respiratory patients requiring continuous monitoring. Responsibilities: • Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias requiring intervention • Manage patients on drips including heparin, amiodarone and vasopressors • Perform 12-lead ECGs and interpret results • Collaborate with cardiologists and pulmonologists • Educate patients on heart disease and lifestyle modifications
