PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN

AdventHealth Orlando is looking for PACU RNs to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at our flagship hospital in Orlando, FL. Our PACU manages patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. What you will do: • Monitor and manage patients immediately following general, regional and MAC anesthesia • Assess airway, breathing, circulation and neurological status post-procedure • Manage pain, nausea, hypothermia and other post-anesthesia complications • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and surgeons • Discharge patients to Phase II recovery or inpatient unit when criteria met
